Peninsula State Park

Peninsula State Park is located on the bay side of Door County near Fish Creek. It offers numerous recreational opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, hiking and more.  For more information, go to Peninsula State Park Recreation.

The park has about 20 miles of trails, most of which are easy or moderate levels of difficulty. Weborg Point is a major migration stopover for warblers in mid-May. Peninsula’s 8-mile shore often yields views of bufflehead ducks, mergansers and bald eagles. Ask for a bird checklist at park headquarters or the nature center.

These pictures were taken during our recent fall hike. Be sure to visit the Eagle Tower and take in the magnificent views. Trails connect to one another and you can combine a hike in the woods with one along the water.
